So here we are at part 2 of 21 and today I will delve in to one of the first steps in creating this mindset. Again it does not mean you have to be a millionaire to have this mindset or that you will become one because you have it. What it does mean is that your life will be clearer, you will make better decisions and have much less regret about what you did or did not do in your life.
#2 Making Decisions: One of the most difficult things to do when starting this journey is not just making a decision but keeping the decision until it produces a result or the success you seek
One clear and prevalent thing when you instill the millionaire mindset is that your decisions are much less emotional and that you commit to your decision 100%. If you have the benefit of being around this mindset or the chance of being in a group of people that embrace the 21 characteristics of a millionaire mindset is that they make decisions quickly and you can count on them to follow through no matter what.
You will also find that they are usually not doing everything to make it work but leading their team with defined firm decisions.
How do you make sound, firm decisions? Embrace the fact that you are going to keep in the game for as long as it takes. Know that the law of delayed gratification is absolutely ingrained and understood and that doing something one time or three times does not determine the outcome or results. The bigger the reward the more efforts it may take.
So what is it you are deciding right now? Are you doing due diligence or are you letting your mind think of all the “what if’s?” Are you asking the right questions to the right people or are you asking friends, relatives, neighbors or co workers what they think? Are you willing to stay the course and trust in the process and belief that actions create results or are you saying I will try it, but…?
When you embrace this characteristic you have made a millionaire mindset foundation shift in how you respond, how you react and the time you allow yourself to not see results knowing, that it is going to work you are on your way to creating the life you have visioned, the life you desire, the life others seemed able to get.
So start the shift today! Did you decide to join a new group, new business, new venture? Get clear in what you are looking to get from it. Get clear in what has to get accomplished for it to have the best opportunity. Find the resources that will help you get it done right without you being the only resource and move as slow or as fast as you choose.
